Tomorrow

Hello!
I will soon be going to catch my train towards Helsinki. Not that I'm going to get off at Helsinki...Non the less, I will be staying at friend's house for the night and early in the morning will go to the airport.
As usually, I won't most likely be updating while I'm there but we never know if after all I will.

For this trip I had to buy new travelling bag, since in last trip tires blew out of my travelling bag....It was well used and lasted about 8 trips both ways and lots of weight.

Friday 13

Amaranthe at Rytmikorjaamo, Seinajoki, Finland

Friday 13, 2015

Before leaving towards Rytmikorjaamo, I took my sweet time preparing and getting ready. As I arrived to concert place it was already past 20:30. Doors were opened at 20:00. At first, I didn't go the place where I ended up being in the Amaranthe's live right away, just roamed around and checked merch table. It was still good 20 minutes before first band.

At the time lights went out people turned their eyes towards the main stage. Cypher 16 were starting. I did wanted to see Cypher 16 as well because what I had seen from youtube, they had sounded pretty ok band.  As their live went longer people started slowly moving towards the stage. Something I really like about Rytmikorjaamo, there aren't many lives where crowd just goes right away to front row, you can just chill around the place and go toilet in peace knowing you will get nice place in the end if you want. At the Cypher 16 live, I was around 4th to 10th row places, if you imagine  the rows which werent even there...only 2 first rows, tell the truth. Other people were scattered around the place.
Cypher 16 vocalist tried us to shout but it turned out to be pretty bad. It just gave me good laughs.  They tried again with bit better success but it was still bad....then vocalist said, that he will try again later which he certainly did. At the time it was ok enough but you could see from the vocalist face that he wasn't pleased. In the end vocalist still took photo of  the crowd. It's in his instagram.

After Cypher 16 ended crowd started to get closer to main stage more, which it had done throught the Cypher 16 live. Next was Liquid Society but they were playing backroom stage....umm, well, it was right and back if you look at it from the stage. Didn't really heard anything from them, at times some noise but didn't paid any attention.

Both lives were short and Amaranthe started at 22:30. Their intro was funny if you started to listen what it said. It was something about some big bang machine which had some proper other name...and some people were to send from the future to sabotage the machine....and so on. Pretty sure it will be found from youtube.

I haven't found proper setlist yet but I know and remember few of the songs they played. And weird stuff they did. ... well, mainly only  their black haired male, the bassist. He was so hammered. (drunk for those who doesn't know what hammered means.) At some point when one of their vocalists was talking, guy with short hair...well, bald...He was talking something about how we weren't drunk enough and then their bassist comes to him and acts like he wants to say something. I have no idea what he babled and whole crowd kept silent as well.  I guess no one really understood him. Even the vocalist looked like 'wait what?!' as he didn't understood either. Bassist walked away and vocalsti turned back to the crowd stating "Even he is more drunk than you are!"

When encore was starting, hammered bassist walked to the stage and made his stomach big. At the middle of the stage he placed finnish beer bottle front of his stomach and noise 'bob' type.  Turning towards crowd. "Listen to this." Kneeling down and placing beer bottle on the ground and helding mic next to it...yes, he seriously made us listen the sound of Karhu (bear) beer bottle being opened. Fancy.... Then he mumbled again something while people were giving him questionable gazes...Suddenly he started talking more clearly and made us shout for more when he moved his finger and then how long we could shout.

We got to sing Amaranthine and it felt and sounded amazing. Even the band seemed really pleased of our singing. Added my video of that.

Never been before

In July I will be going with a friend I met in Japan for the first time to Munich, Germany. I have never been in Munich or Germany. Haven't had a chance to travel when I was younger. Only did some trips inside of Finland when I was a kid.

There is no concerts or events where we will be going but you never know if something turns up.
As for the trip, plane tickets and hotel are already booked but since I've never been in Germany, I wonder... What kind of places would be good to visit.

Will be staying in Munich for a week 21.07.2015-27.07.2015.

Travelling soon again!

In middle of last month was one fan club ticket selling for the GazettE's newest tour DOGMATIC -UN- & -DUE- . Dogmatic -un- tour will be held in autumn and Dogmatic -due- will be held in winter.
It took about a month to get the confirmation whether you got the tickets or not. Personally, I got all the tickets I wanted to (^∇^) Even got a friend to come with me, unless she finds something better to do on the day. She isn't really a fan of them anyways but I want to introduce so said proper the GazettE to her. The lives they did on World tour weren't really anything good. No, I don't mean I didn't enjoy of them but the fact that in Japan their lives are around 2 hours to 2 and half instead of hour and half tops.
I wonder if I will be able to see familiar faces. I sure hope I won't meet those 2 annoying girls who are making bad reputation of us western fans by acting rude towards other westerns and asian people.

There is another trip coming soon but will not say anything about it, since it is still in middle of planning.

Sukekiyo in Finland

It was full surprise to hear Sukekiyo coming to Europe. Band haven't been existing long but surely being Dir en Grey's Kyo's solo project, band would get attention.
As for me, I never have been fan of Dir en Grey, even though I do listen them at rare times and seen them few times live.

The day was surprising warm to be September. Since, I had VIP ticket to the show, I had to arrive earlier. There were around 10 VIPs and it seemed not many had heard about the VIP tickets. I can't complain because most of us talked with each other, even when most of us didn't knew each other.

We got in hour or so before regulars. VIPs bought whatever they wanted and left jackets and bags to cloakroom.  Also, we got VIP passes, randomly chosen polaroid and cd with autographs. Polaroids were taken by Kyo... and well, you can see he did used his free will to take random photos.
While waiting permission to go upstairs, where the stage area was staff lady talked with us, mostly only questions. She did ask who were Dir en Grey fan and who was fan of Kyo. I laughed finding it little to notice that I seemed to be only fan of long time disbanded band Rentrer en Soi. As I stated that to friend who was with me, merchandise table lady gave me surprised gaze.

In the stage area, we didn't had to wait long till band members started to come to the stage. They played 2 or 3 songs while just chilling on the stage  in their own clothes and checking if their equipments were working right. Many of us had been talking whether Kyo would show up at all or not, because when Dir en grey had been doing VIP thing, such as taking photos with fans; Kyo had been missing whole time. At first it was only members who played their instrument but eventually to our surprise Kyo walked on stage wearing green sweater.
Before they walked away, Kyo took good look at us and sort of greeted us. I don't remember if he said something like "oi" "hi" etc... or was it just greeting with movement of his head. Kind of like single nod. Please tell me if you know proper name for it. We greeted back..partially, cause it was also amusing us. Such a special treat from Kyo.

One thing I was truly surprised was the fact that people in crowd weren't pushing at all. It was easy to enjoy whole live from the first row.  I hope this kind of act would continue but I have doubts...

Through the live there, weren't any speaks, that I can remember at least. Last thing Kyo said before live came to end was good night in Japanese. "oyasuminasai."
I did enjoy the live, I could even say it was better than those Dir en Grey lives I have went to but then again both of these are different kind of music. And, I'm not fan of the other one.

Last entry for now. Till next time~

Sorry for really late last entry about latest trip to Japan.

Few days before leaving Japan behind went to Kyoto for a day. It was going to be quite busy day, even in the end it felt like we could just easily roam around Kyoto in peace.
First went to Scenery train in Saga Torokko Station, one way cost 600yen. Sure it was quite a lot for one way ride. I don't remember how long the ride was but sceneries were nice. Sad to say that it wasn't as quite impressive as I thought it would be. Maybe the reason for it was that I live in country where are normally lots of trees and forests and rivers/lakes. I would like to go on it again but only in Sakura time.

Because we didn't bought both ways train ticket we ended up in middle of fields. It was peaceful feeling to be out of the city for a moment. There were no constant noise and you could easily see far away.
We took JR train back to Saga Torokko, just because wanted to visit Bamboo forest. Only minus for it was that there were few cars driving by in already narrow roads. It ended quite fast but I could enjoy it. Haven't never walked next to living bamboos which was nice experience.

Last but not least place was Inari shrine and Torii gates. It was quite late when we arrived, it had gotten darker. I had read that in around the middle of Torii gates you wish you wouldn't have gone there. That it was long but in the end it didn't even felt long. I truly enjoyed walking through it.
As friend and I were walking through Torii gates it had started to drop few rain drops and slowly getting bigger. Soon it was pouring rain. We had to laugh, it was so our luck that in some point in Kyoto it would start raining. I had said in some former entries when I were in Golden pavilion that there would always rain something, whether it was rain or lightly snowing.
Finally making through Torii gates we had soaked socks but it didn't matter much. In Japan it can be warm weather even when it is raining but in my country, most of the cases when it rains it also gets colder.
